Frequently asked questions

From AED 11,500 to AED 17,500. The cars for sale cluster in age, so condition and mileage carry most of the weight in price.

Interior condition is the thing to check hardest: 71% of the Fusions we inspect show some staining, against the 46% we would expect for mid-size sedans of this age and mileage in the UAE, and mechanical faults also run above expectation. That reflects a car that has usually been used as daily family transport rather than one with a design flaw, which is exactly why the inspection report on the individual car matters. The Volkswagen Passat shows a similarly high rate of interior staining, so this is a segment-wide pattern.

  • Engine and gearbox behaviour under load, given the elevated mechanical fault rate.
  • Interior upholstery for staining against the stated mileage.
  • Suspension and steering feel over rough surfaces.
  • Full service history to separate a maintained car from a neglected one.

Book the CarSwitch inspection before you buy—it is the fastest way to know what a specific Fusion has actually been through.

Buy on condition and full service history rather than a specific year, since the current stock comes from the same generation.

The Toyota Camry costs considerably more for a reputation for lower running costs. The Dodge Charger costs considerably more too but carries a much lower mechanical fault rate. Within the Ford range, the Ford Figo is the cheaper, smaller alternative with its own high interior staining rate.
