How does the service work?
CarSwitch is an online platform that helps advertise and sell your car. We don’t buy cars directly. There's an upfront fee for inspection and listing starting from AED 99 and a commission is only taken after the sale and varies based on the car's price but starts from AED 999.
How much can I sell my car for?
You set your own price on CarSwitch, but we will provide you with our recommendation based on several data sources, including recent sales, offers made and live listings on the internet, so you get a good price that is still competitive to attract serious buyers.
Can I list my car if it has accidents or modifications?
We typically accept cars without major accidents. Minor accidents are usually okay, but we'll need to inspect the car first. For heavily modified cars, we can list them but need to verify the modifications.
How does the inspection process work?
Our specialist will visit your location to inspect the car, test drive, take professional photos, and create a 360-degree video. This helps showcase your car's condition to potential buyers.
Can I negotiate the price with buyers?

Interesting facts about Mercedes cars
Insider tips from the experts
About Mercedes
Founded in 1926 by Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler, Mercedes-Benz is one of the top brands when it comes to luxury cars. It’s headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany. With over two million premium cars sold worldwide annually, Mercedes-Benz is the leader in this segment. The company produces convertibles, wagons, couples, SUVs, sedans, as well as commercial vehicles. Some of the well-known brands and divisions of the company include Mercedes-Maybach and Mercedes-AMG. Since Mercedes-AMG models usually have better performance rankings and specs, the price tag is also often heftier.
The first Mercedes was built in 1901 and came with 35 hp. It was named after the daughter of Emil Jellinek, who was an entrepreneur and worked with Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG). Karl Benz’s company and Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft merged in 1926, and the production of first cars under the brand name Mercedes-Benz began. During the 1930s and early 1940s, the company produced Mercedes-Benz 770, which was a big luxury vehicle at that time. Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, which is considered to be the first supercar ever built, was revealed in the 1950s. During this decade Mercedes-Benz continued to introduce new innovations and technologies, especially with regards to safety. For example, Mercedes-Benz 220 fared better in crash tests compared to other vehicles. The company brought us the Mercedes-Benz 600 in the 1960s. It was a limousine with an eight-cylinder powertrain that could produce 300 hp. Another feature that made it remarkable as a luxury vehicle of its time was the fact that it could go from zero to 60 in just seven seconds.
Mercedes-Benz continued to improve its vehicles in terms of safety, luxury, and power during the decade that followed and launched the S-Class. The popular Mercedes-Benz 190 E was introduced in the 1980s. During the 1990s the company took another big step towards taking the performance and quality of its vehicles to an even higher level – Mercedes-Benz joined hands with AMG, which specializes in improving performance. Beginning with Mercedes C36 AMG, the company has been producing AMG, or high-performance versions, of almost all its cars. Today, ranging from GLC (compact luxury SUVs) to AMG GT (sports cars), a huge variety of Mercedes used cars for sale are available. You can tell a lot about a Mercedes car by looking at the suffix in its model name. For example, if you see a ‘C’ the body type is likely to be a cabriolet or coupe, ‘R’ stands for racing, and ‘D’ means that it has a diesel engine.
When it comes to electric cars, Mercedes has made so many advancements that it has emerged as one of Tesla’s major competitors. Mercedes-AMG cars have also participated and been successful in Formula One championships.
Once you get behind the wheel in one of these cars and experience the luxury and performance it can deliver, it wouldn’t take much convincing to make you sell your car in Dubai and UAE and invest in a Mercedes-Benz vehicle.
