Used Kia Sorento for Sale in Abu Dhabi

Three rows for mid-size money: the Kia Sorento is what UAE families buy when they need seven seats and cannot justify a full-size SUV. We have 1 used Sorentos listed.

What to look over on a used Kia Sorento

  • Every electrical function — screens, cameras, powered tailgate, folding seats.
  • Rear AC output with the car idling in the heat.
  • Service history in full, particularly gearbox and cooling work.

Go straight to the electrical section of the CarSwitch inspection report on any Sorento — that is where the difference between two identical-looking cars is recorded.

Frequently asked questions

A 2022 Kia Sorento averaged AED 73,000 in our closed sales, a 2019 AED 31,000 and a 2014 AED 22,000. Current asking prices run from AED 15,000 for a late-2010s car to AED 79,995 for a current-shape one, around 42% below a new Sorento.

The mechanicals are sound; the electronics are where money goes. 21% of the Kia Sorentos we inspect in the UAE show an electrical or electronics fault, against the 13% we would expect for SUVs of the same age and mileage here. That is a mid-size SUV trait more than a Kia one — the Ford Edge runs at 25% against a 15% expectation for its class.

The Nissan X-Trail is cleaner electrically — 2% against an 11% expectation for its class — and holds about 54%, so take it if resale is your first question; it costs more and has no third row worth using. The Toyota RAV4 holds about 56% on the same terms. Buy the Sorento for the seats and the equipment at the price.

2021 onwards if the budget reaches. The fourth-generation Sorento arrived that year on a new platform with a longer wheelbase, a third row adults can use and a cabin two classes above what came before. The 2016 to 2020 car is the previous generation and drives like it, so if the third row is the point of the purchase, 2021 is the line to be on the right side of.

This is why a used one is good value: about 44% of its value after five years, behind the 51% typical of UAE mid-size SUVs and the 49% across Kia's local range. The first owner absorbed that drop, which is why a seven-seat Sorento asks mid-size money on our listings.
