The LX570 is the Land Cruiser's luxury twin: same chassis and running gear, a 5.7-litre V8, and a cabin built to a completely different standard. In the UAE it is the long-distance family car that also works on sand.


What to check on a used Lexus LX570

  • Height-control suspension, raised and lowered through its full range.

  • Tyres and brakes, both expensive in this size.

The LX570 ran from 2008 to 2021 on one chassis, and the 2016 revision is the meaningful line: an eight-speed automatic in place of the six, the full-height grille, and a much better infotainment system. The LX600 replaced it for 2022, so a 2020 or 2021 car is the last of the V8s — worth paying for if you want the simplest possible drivetrain in a car this heavy.
