Lucid builds one thing and builds it to an extreme: a large electric luxury saloon with more range and more power than almost anything it parks next to. The badge has widened since — a larger Gravity SUV has joined the saloon — but in the UAE the appeal is unchanged: a quiet, fast, technically ambitious car for a buyer who has somewhere to plug in overnight.
How much does a used Lucid cost in the UAE?
Asking prices on our UAE listings run from AED null to AED null, and what separates cars is battery size and drivetrain rather than age — the range spans a rear-drive version to a dual-motor performance car, and specification moves the price far more than the odometer does.
Are used Lucids reliable in the UAE?
There is very little to wear out, and that is the point of buying one used. An electric drivetrain has no belts, no gearbox to speak of, no oil services and no exhaust, so the mechanical inspection is short by nature. What matters instead is the battery and the software: confirm the state of health, ask how quickly the car takes a rapid charge when the pack is warm, check that it is running current software, and confirm what remains of the battery and drivetrain warranty and whether it transfers to you. Brakes, bushes and tyres deserve a look too, because a heavy car with instant torque works all three harder than you would expect.
Lucid or Mercedes?
Mercedes and BMW both offer electric saloons with the reassurance of a dealer on every main road, and Audi does the same. Lucid's answer is efficiency and range — it goes further on the same charge, which is what makes an Abu Dhabi run a non-event. Charging is straightforward if you can charge where you park, and the public network across Dubai and Abu Dhabi covers the rest.
