Mahindra is India's largest SUV manufacturer and one of the oldest automotive brands to emerge from South Asia, now available in the UAE with a lineup priced from AED 56,900 to AED 88,000. The brand competes on value-per-square-metre — offering genuinely large, diesel-powered SUVs at prices that undercut most Japanese and Korean rivals of similar size.
In the UAE, Mahindra vehicles are distributed through a network of authorised dealers, with service support available in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The brand has maintained a presence in the GCC for over a decade, catering primarily to value-conscious buyers and small business operators who need robust, spacious vehicles without premium pricing.
Mahindra's UAE lineup currently spans two models, both body-on-frame SUVs built around practicality and space. The XUV500 is the centrepiece of the range, a seven-seat SUV with a 2.2-litre diesel engine available in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. Entry trims start from AED 56,900, making the XUV500 one of the most affordable seven-seat SUVs on sale in the UAE. The top all-wheel-drive variant reaches AED 88,000 — still well below comparably sized rivals from Toyota, Hyundai, or Kia. Buyers who prioritise cabin space, towing-friendly diesel torque, and low purchase cost over brand prestige will find Mahindra's proposition difficult to dismiss at this price point.
