2020 onward if you can. The City was fully redesigned for that model year — longer, wider, quieter, with a much better cabin and a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre engine driving through a continuously variable transmission. The 2014 to 2019 car is the bargain and mechanically sound, but it is a visibly older product inside, and the gap in asking price between the two generations is smaller than the gap in the driving experience.
