Changan has been retailing here longer, so its service footprint is wider and used buyers bid more confidently on its cars. If you keep cars for years, GAC's warranty is the stronger argument; if you trade often, Changan's resale is.
What should you check before buying a GAC?
Read the warranty rather than the headline: its exclusions, its mileage ceiling and whether it survives a change of owner, because an unexpired warranty is one of the few things propping up resale on a brand this new here. Then locate the authorised workshops and get the first three service prices quoted in writing.
