Chery is one of China's largest automakers and among the fastest-growing Chinese brands in the UAE, offering a lineup of 18 models that spans affordable sedans from AED 35,795 to flagship plug-in hybrid SUVs approaching AED 172,000. The brand competes on value, technology, and an increasingly broad powertrain mix — including PHEV options that few rivals at this price point can match.
In the UAE, Chery vehicles are distributed by Al Naboodah Automobiles, with showrooms and service centres across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. The brand has been building its presence in the Gulf since the early 2010s.
Chery's UAE lineup runs from AED 35,795 to AED 172,000 and covers sedans and SUVs across most segments. At the entry level, the Arrizo 5 is a compact sedan that opens the range with a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre engine and straightforward equipment. Moving up, the Tiggo 4 Pro and Tiggo 7 serve the compact and mid-size SUV segments with turbocharged engines and a stronger tech offering. The Tiggo 8 is the brand's mainstream three-row family SUV, sitting in the mid-range of the lineup. At the top of the range, the Tiggo 9 is the flagship large SUV — available with a 2.0-litre turbo or a PHEV powertrain with four-wheel drive — while the Arrizo 8 PHEV brings a plug-in hybrid option to the executive sedan segment. Across the range, Chery's key pitch is feature-per-dirham value: buyers consistently get larger screens, more driver assistance systems, and more powertrain variety than mainstream Japanese or Korean rivals at equivalent price points.
