Whichever has the longest cover still ahead of it. There is no older HS5 generation on UAE roads worth avoiding, so the choice comes down to how much factory warranty remains and how clean the service record looks.

The Volkswagen Tiguan and Honda CR-V both cost more but bring an established dealer network the HS5 is still building, and both show more prior body or panel repair in our inspections than the newcomer. The Mitsubishi ASX undercuts it on price if brand history matters more to you than equipment. Hongqi's own H5 sedan sits below it in the range for less money if body style is not a priority.

An open question this early in its life here, though nothing in what we have inspected suggests concern — the cars we have seen run a median of around 37,000 km, light use consistent with a car this new to the market.
