  1. This contract is provided by a third party company. CarSwitch has no commitment or responsibility and does not take any financial or legal responsibility.
  2. This Covered Service Contract provides the coverage that will commence from the starting date of the contract and confirms a period of cover for term, as stated on your Contract Certificate. “No claim period” for weeks and 500km after the starting date.
  3. Failure to perform the required maintenance to Your Vehicle on a timely basis in accordance with the Service Intervals will invalidate this Service Contract coverage. If any service required fells within the period of coverage, the service has to be done at Swiss Auto.
  4. To qualify for cover under Your Subject Service Contract, You must:
    4.1. Present Your Vehicle to MP Warranties listed service center or repairer as soon as possible after you become aware of the defect.
    4.2. Ensure that Your Vehicle is properly, regularly and punctually serviced in accordance with the recommended Service Intervals using genuine & OEM parts. You should also ensure that your Service History Log is completed and stamped and that you retain all relevant invoices/receipts.
    4.3. In all cases, before any repair work is carried out to Your Vehicle, you must produce Your Service History Log duly stamped to show what servicing work has been completed and if so requested, produce the invoices/receipts, which relate to the servicing work which is shown as having been completed.
    4.4. Regularly check Your Vehicle at the standard frequencies and odometer specified as per the vehicle standard in the Service Plan in respect of radiator coolant levels, battery, tires, brake fluid and engine oil levels and adjusting the same where required.
    4.5. Inform MP Warranties listed service center as soon as possible of any defect or failure in Your Vehicles odometer or of the fitting of any replacement odometer to Your Vehicle.
    4.6. All parts that are replaced under this Service Contract shall belong to the Company.
    4.7. The coverage and the repair request will be up to vehicle market value with the depreciation of fifteen percent of each year from the model of the vehicle and the date of registration, the depreciation value will be paid or charged by the owner of the vehicle.
  5. The company reserves the right in each repair request to specify the use of reconditioned or exchanged components when appropriate.
  6. This service contract does not provide Coverage for damages for bad faith, punitive or exemplary damages, personal injury including bodily injury, property damage and attorney fees.
  7. Service Contract can be avoided if vehicle is not maintained according to the recommendations in the care guidelines or due to neglect.
  8. The Service Contract covers only the components listed in this booklet under "Covered Parts" only.
  9. The Service Contract covers as per the issued certificate repair request limit.
  10. The Service Contract payment is not refundable.
  11. For any vehicle that has covered service contract duration longer than 3 year/ 100,000 km following coverage limitation will apply on: -EV cars (Battery (lithium battery) and Electric motor), Gasoline/Hybrid Cars: (Engine and Gearbox) after 3 years/ 100 000 km whatever comes first from the date of the covered service contract issuance.
  12. This Service Contract is transferable to a new vehicle owner only upon obtaining approval from MP Warranties, completing the car inspection at one of the centers listed in MP Warranties, and transfer fee payment.
