You might be tempted to head over and buy new and used cars in Dubai on CarSwitch.com after hearing this bit of news! In anticipation of the Forza 4 Horizon extended edition video game release, Lego has announced its newest member of the Speed Champions range: the 1974 Porsche 911 Turbo. Yes, you heard right. Avid fans can now experience the legendary vehicle in toy form, complete with a Lego person driver, rubber racing wheels, cones and even a safety helmet.
Some have been bestowed with the opportunity to operate the 1973 Porsche 911 Turbo in the company of NASCAR racing star, Bobby Allison. It was clear that the Lego version had much in common with the actual car, least of all to mention the whale-tail rear end spoiler.
Lego’s impeccable timing has only increased the buzz for their new release, as the 1974 Porsche 911 features in the video game itself.
The Lego car is marketed towards children aged 7 and above.
We can clearly see why this particular model ranks as one of Lego’s simpler build options: the car is a total of five inches in length, it is about two inches wide, and maybe one inch tall. It is an absolutely perfect size for your little ones to play with.
Looking back at the extensive range of car-based products in the Lego line, it seems likely that there are some big fans working behind those doors. Other available makes in the Lego Speed Champions range include the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, the Ford Mustang, the Ferrari 488 GT3 and the McLaren 720S.
The impeccable 1970 Porsche 911 releases on the 1st of August and will be sold at prices starting from $14.99. The car is also accompanied with the Porsche 911 Turbo kit which includes a small driver with their helmet, three mini road cones, and cool racing tires.
