Then there’s a big leap to the 2021, which costs about AED 90,000 but has roughly half the mileage of the 2018.
Why the 2021 is the one worth stretching for
A brand-new Charger lists for about AED 241,000. A used 2021 saves you around AED 150,000 — that’s over 60% off. And unlike the 2018, which has typically done about 116,000 km, the 2021 averages closer to 53,000 km. You’re getting a car that’s barely broken in, for a fraction of the price.

The 2022 is a fine car, but at around AED 130,000 it’s nearly 45% more than the 2021. That extra AED 40,000 gets you only about 3,500 fewer kilometres on the clock. Unless you need manufacturer warranty coverage, the 2021 is the smarter move.

What actually moves the price on a used Charger
Engine size
V8 Chargers — the ones with the rumble — cost about 7% more than a four-cylinder on the used market. That’s a noticeable bump, but it’s not the doubling some people expect. If you want the V8 experience, used is the way to get it without the new-car premium.
Accident history

Prices aren’t the same all year. Based on what we’ve tracked on CarSwitch, used car prices in Dubai tend to be highest in January (about 4% above the yearly norm) and lowest in December (about 4% below). That’s a swing of roughly 8% top to bottom.
For a Charger listed at AED 90,000, shopping in November or December instead of January could mean the difference of AED 7,000 or so. That’s real money. If you’re not in a rush, waiting for the last quarter of the year is worth it.
How much room is there to negotiate?
This depends on the asking price. On Chargers listed in the AED 60,000–100,000 range — which is where most 2021s sit — we’ve seen about 6% come off the asking price. On ones listed between AED 30,000 and AED 60,000 (the 2017–2019 range), it’s closer to 7%.
