Bugatti is known for its fierce and fast cars that can tempt you to sell your car in Dubai. However, the Bugatti president recently announced that no more speed records will be coming from the company in the coming future. But guess what? Just before this announcement, the prototype Chiron broke all records by hitting a top speed of 304.772 mph (490.484kph) at Ehra-Lessien test track. CarSwitch.com brings you this exciting scoop!
Driven by Bugatti test driver and Le Mans winner, Andy Wallace, Bugatti Chiron has become the first car to cross the 300 mph barrier, which means that we’re on track to see 400 mph production cars in the near future. Bugatti has now decided to produce 30 units of this prototype known as, Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+. Hence, it’s now the fastest production car in the world.
The new Chiron shares its powertrain with the recently released Bugatti Centodieci. It has an 8.0 litre quad-turbo W16 powerhouse which churns out a hulking 1,578 hp. Of course, you can’t drive this on Dubai highways which is why Bugatti gives you access to its Ehra-Lessien test track. With a naked carbon fiber exterior, it is decorated by magnesium wheels and can be customized with any color you want, even if it’s the orange shown in the pictures above.
Even though, the one that hit the 304 mph mark had only one seat and a roll cage, things might differ a bit. All of us know someone that we might want to give a good speed scare and for that, this Chiron will come with a passenger seat minus the roll cage. Then again, you can get a roll cage as an add-on, if buying this ferocious beast hasn’t broken your bank already because of course, its extremely expensive.
Just like its thumping performance, the Chiron Speed 300+ will carry a whopping price tag of $3.89 million. Unfortunately, might be one of the final cars with such feisty speed by Bugatti. According to Bugatti President, Winkelmann, Bugatti has proven itself in the field of fast cars and will be putting more effort in other areas such as luxury.
With only 30 units, this Chiron is as exclusive as it can get. Gearheads are swooning over this car but it might be difficult to buy it even if you sell your car in Dubai, but we hope to see at least one of these on the UAE roads.
