In one of their web events, the Nissan Middle East has announced that the 2021 Nissan X-Terra is to make a comeback with the popular X-Terra nameplate. Now “X-Terra”, the new Nissan will be based on the ASEAN-market Terra.
Coming with specifications set for the Gulf region, the X-Terra is also set to make its debut across the world as well. The current Thai-market Terra facelift also debuted on the same day.
Under the Hood
The 2021 Nissan X-Terra comes with a 2.5-litre engine with four cylinders. To add on, it has a seven-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel-drive.
It also comes with differentials such as a locking centre differential, brake-based limited-slip differential and an electronic locking rear differential.

Safety
Safety has become a prime focus of all-new models in the making. The Nissan X-Terra comes with a lane departure warning inspired by midsize SUVs patrol platinum trim.
It also has a blind spot warning, intelligent forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, intelligent driver alertness and intelligent emergency braking.

Exterior and Interior
The new X-Terra has LED headlights with a 9-inch intuitive touchscreen display. The “Zero Gravity” seats are a luxury feature it has in the front and second row. Claiming to be the “best in class” ride comfort, the X-Terra has an emphasis on sound-deadening.
It will be available in seven exterior colours, including bright brown and burgundy while the interior comes in black and light grey colours.
