What are the exciting specs?
The Mazda MX-5 Miata has no shortage of show-stopping perks, of these, one of the most impressive is its steering wheel. Customized to allow tilt movement and telescoping, the steering wheel provides a new level of comfort and ease for hard to impress drivers.
While they have maxed in on comfort, Mazda has not forgotten the real kick that comes out of driving a luxury brand car: the speed. With an addition 26 horsepower, the Mazda MX-5 Miata has a horsepower of 181 at 7,000 rpm of torque. Peak torque is now 151 lb-ft at 4,000 rpm.
The most surprising fact is that Mazda has achieved all these improvements whilst keeping true to what their car is supposed to represent: lightweight and easy to use.
What is our opinion?
It is our job to give you an honest judgement without any biases. The conditions for the test drive were not sufficient enough to give a comprehensive review. They were just too perfect; straight, wide roads and good temperature.
Now, we all know that these conditions hardly prevail during our everyday drives. This is why the Mazda was tested over rough terrain and it did not disappoint.
All in all, the Mazda did pack in what it promised i.e increased speed and precision. It is a highly recommended car to those that are prone to travelling along the countryside or other such areas. However, driving it in the city, it may not live up to its expectations.
