In a latest development, a 50 per cent discount on all kinds of fines was announced by The Roads and Transport Authority of Sharjah on Wednesday. The discount rate will be applicable on all the fines that were issued between January 1, 2020 and October 31, 2020. Moreover, the discount scheme will be valid until March 1, 2021.
“We want all motorists to make the most of this newly announced scheme,” reveals the authority in a recent talk with social media.
In an effort to make things easier for the violators, the authority has given fair enough time for availing the aforementioned discount. Meanwhile, it has also been made sure that all the traffic violations made during 10 months of the last year falls under the new discount scheme.Truth be told, more violations are an integral part of busy cities like Sharjah and taking this into consideration, The Roads and Transport Authority of Sharjah has made sure that the burden of fines can be lessened on the residents to some extent.
It is worth mentioning here that all fines must be paid on the SRTA’s official website.
The following three payment options will be considered valid:
– The authority’s official website www.srta.gov.ae
– You can also pay through the authority’s headquarters in Al Azra
– In addition, the authority’s offices in KhorFakkan and Kalba can also be used as payment options
