The Hyundai Santa Fe is getting a style makeover for 2021. It was announced in 2018 and just two years later the automakers have announced an upgrade. CarSwitch.com, an online marketplace for certified used cars for sale in Dubai, did some research to share the details with you.
Changes in the interior
The changes in its interior and performance will impress the fans that had been waiting for the big reveal. The front interior looks bolder, courtesy of the wider grille that extends to the entire width of the vehicle. The grille comes with T-shaped LED lights; this gives the front a sleek and bold finish. The day-time running lights are similar to the ones incorporated in Palisade. The aesthetics and color scheme reflect a monochromatic theme.
A lot of features in the Palisade have been reminisced in the Santa Fe makeover, the dashboard inside looks similar to the three rows incorporated in the Palisade. The interior makeover provides more comfort, space and ease to the passengers and the driver. The staff at Hyundai revealed that top notch materials had been incorporated in the interior, just like in the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe, making them smooth and soft to touch.
Changes to the exterior
The vehicle’s width has considerably increased with this upgrade; it becomes more prominent by the reflector that extends from one corner of the bumper to the other. The tires in the upgraded version are bigger and rise higher to elevate the status of the car. This makes the appearance of the new model more rugged than its predecessor; this is mainly due to the bold front look and elevated height of the new model.
The technical specs of the new model have still not been revealed yet but the revamped model will come with a Terrain Mode selector. This will be installed in the control knob at the center console. This will help the driver easily switch to another driving mode.
This includes different models for different terrains such as sand, snow, sport and comfort. The car’s system will automatically recognize the terrain from the car’s driving style and switch the mode so the driver does not have to make an additional effort.
SangYup Lee, the Senior Vice President supervised the entire revamping of this model, he is the head of Global Design Center. He says “We modernized the New Santa Fe with premium features and appealing aesthetics that are sure to add value. The bold lines that extend from one side to the other and from front to back give Santa Fe a rugged yet refined look that SUV customers want. Besides, we’ve added numerous features and functions to create a truly family-focused SUV that is a pleasure to drive.”
