The recently held 2019 LA Motor Show showcased some amazing cars. Bringing together the marvels of the automotive industry, the show gave the audience some serious blockbusters and these new cars are going to give a tough competition to all other cars for sale in Sharjah. Here are some of CarSwitch.com’s favorites from the 2019 LA Motor Show.
Ford Mustang Mach-E
The new electric SUV by Ford is probably the biggest reveal of the LA Motor show. The Mach-E stole the show with its aggressive looks, excellent cabin tech and a range of up to 300 miles. Also, it can go from 0-100 kph in as low as 3.5 seconds. This “muscle car meets electric powertrain” concept is something many are looking forward to, however, an SUV wearing a mustang batch isn’t something everyone is going to be happy about.
Volkswagen ID Space Vizzion Concept
If you were looking for the family car version of the new people’s car Volkswagen ID 3, here it is! Based on the latest MEB platform, this concept offers 275 hp with a 300 mile range. It is connected to an 82 kWh battery. We might also get to see another variant with 335hp and an AWD drive in the coming future. This car is expected to hit the market in 2022 and it will surely be an excellent addition to the Volkswagen family.
BMW M2 CS
The BMW M2 CS impressed us with its excellent combination of athletic looks, powerful engine and a manual gearbox. It offers a 3.0L twin-turbo 6 cylinder under the hood and has an output of 444hpp. BMW claims that it has class-leading handling and precision and we have no reason to doubt that.
Hyundai Vision T Concept
The Hyundai Vision T Concept certainly made heads turn. This new SUV showcased the brand’s new design language, which looked pretty futuristic with its integrated headlights and a new grille that opens up when the powertrain needs cooling. The Vision T is powered by a plug-in hybrid powertrain and has a charging port surrounded by illuminated lights which display the battery status. But that’s all we know for now. It definitely seems like a mega EV from the future, so don’t expect to see it till 2022!
Audi RS Q8
The new Audi RS Q8 is in the big league as it gives competition to SUVs like Lamborghini Urus. Packing a 4.0L twin-turbo V8, it pushes out a massive 592hp with 590lb-ft of torque. Additionally, its cylinder deactivation technology makes it even more of a catch by making it fuel-efficient. Moreover, it is connected to a 48V mild hybrid system.
Lexus LC Convertible
This has to be one of the most good-looking Lexus cars we’ve seen so far. This cabriolet will be available as a 5.0L V8 with and output of 471hp. Even though the performance metrics are still under wraps, it’s four layer soft-top mechanism is a wow factor. The top takes 15 seconds to open and 16 seconds to close at a speed of up to 31mph. Amazing!
The Sentra is an important part of the auto industry and comes with a gorgeous makeover for the year 2020. The exterior looks sporty, the body is bigger and a reworked chassis gives it a better performance. It packs a 2.0L Inline 4 engine which cracks out 149 hp and it ticks all the right boxes to keep its place as Nissan’s best selling model.
These fantastic cars made jaws drop at the 2019 LA Motor Show but sadly, they won’t be available as cars for sale in Sharjah until next year or even later. However, if you’re looking to buy, CarSwitch.com has a great variety of cars for every budget!
