CarSwitch.com gives you details of this latest release.
Set to be made public at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini has shared details of this latest addition to the lineup, Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder.
Lamborghini seems to be on a roll with its new inventions especially with its one off SC18 Alston and now this one. The Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder shares many traits with Huracan EVO coupe as it has a similar chassis. Also, it has a naturally aspirated V10 engine. Additionally, it shares the same power with a 640 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque.
This new addition is 120 kg heavier than its coupe brother weighing about 1542 kg (dry weight). Due to its weight, it can do 62mph in 3.1s which is lower than 0.2s of the Huracan EVO coupe This weight is of course a part of the mechanism of its roof but it gets better.
At the speed of 50km/h or 30mph, the fabric soft-top is able to operate in 17 seconds which is quicker than the best hardtop convertibles. Moreover, it has a top speed of 325 km/hr. Seems like it’s a great time for car enthusiasts.
On the exterior, its redesign includes front fascia with a new rear bumper with large air intakes. The design of the underbody provides better airflow. Additionally, due to its aerodynamic efficiency, it will provide dynamic handling. Also, this stunner gets 20-inch Aesir rims with Pirelli P-zero tires.
The stylish interior comes with a 8.4 inch touch screen infotainment system which has amazing new functions with gesture control. Moreover, the interior has a combination of Alcantara and leather with customization stitching options available.
Similar to the EVO coupe version, this model has a Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LVDI) processing chip which control a rear wheel steering and four-wheel torque vectoring which will make the drive of this Lamborghini a definitely thrilling experience. Additionally, It will allow the adjustment of different vehicle actions on the go as well as detect the drivers next move.
Other than that, it has a combination of sensors known as Lamborghini Piattaforma Inerziale 2.0. This integration will provide real time information from the different parts of the car to the sensors. It will also help prevent collision.
This gorgeous beast is set to launched and will be available for sale in spring in the UK and US. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for when it will be available as a used car for sale.
