Hyundai has officially unveiled its red chrome Veloster turbo in the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit with a bunch of new and improved tech features. The asymmetrical, three-door hatchback has received an all-new front grille, an extended re-diffuser and a model-fixed suspension system. Consider this sexy, spec-powered, turbo when you go buy car in Dubai!
The launch line-up includes the Veloster, Veloster Turbo and Veloster N respectively. Overall, the Veloster’s proportions remain the same. With two doors on the passenger side and one on the driver’s side, and tail-lamps positioned higher up, these “quirky” features are what makes the car stand out!
All the base models will include a 2.0 litre, four cylinder engine that runs on 147 horsepower. The model went with the standard front-wheel drive where buyers are given a choice between the automatic six-speed transmission and a manual six-speed transmission.
Between the two, the Veloster Turbo is quicker. It has a complete system of springs, stabilizer bars and a more efficient steering ratio. However, the Veloster N seems to be the fiercer one in the Veloster line-up!
The Veloster N model get a new “turbo” makeover with the 2.0 litre engine altered to pump out 275 horsepower at a 260 lb of torque. The Veloster N is set out to become the new champ of the Veloster clan!
All Veloster variants come with a Torque Vectoring Control with an electronic stability control. Not to mention, a premium entertainment display system with a large eight-inch touchscreen and Android auto! Looks like Hyundai is really stepping up their game.
