The auction held this Saturday for distinctive number plates at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention was organized by the Sharjah Police and Emirates Auction. This auction had more than 300 bidders.
Other noticeable number plates included number 20 which raised AED 1.9 million, number 14 which raised AED 1.81 million. Also, number 55 and 69 were able to fetch AED 1.55 million and AED 1.25 million respectively.
The winners of the bids needed to present a guarantee cheque which was reimbursed in the event that a number was not obtained by the member.
