With sales standing at 2000 cars a month, the model has become the most successful launch in the UK! The figures are especially surprising because XC40 is Volvo’s first ever SUV and it has already started giving competition to the big fish of the pond; Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW!
Powered by a 2.0 litre, four-cylinder charged engine, the model is an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends out power to all four wheels! The 247 horse-powered SUV can belt out top speeds of 155 mph with a 0-60 time of 6.5 seconds!
Bob jacobs, the head of the marketing and brand communication mentioned how Lara Croft’s and the car’s personalities meshed really well together saying, “One of the things that we really loved about the film is Lara Croft’s character: bold, surprising and always ready for adventure, just like the Volvo XC40.” Well, we can’t argue with that seeing how the car looks so fierce to boot!
