For those looking for a more rugged version of the Volvo V60 wagon, the Volvo V60 Cross Country can be a great choice. In many ways, the roots of the 2020 Volvo V60 Cross Country can be traced back to the 1990s, when the company started building the 850 AWD. Or more precisely, it seems to have been inspired by the V70 Cross Country, which was a successor of the 850 AWD. In case you are thinking about going to this car for sale, here is what you need to know:
First, let’s get the price of the 2020 Volvo V60 out of the way. The price starts at $46,095 (169,313 AED), which includes the $45,100 (165, 659 AED) base price and the compulsory $995 (3,654 AED) destination charge.
If you want 19-inch alloy wheels instead of the standard 18s ones, you will have to cough up an additional $800 (2,938 AED) and throw in $285 (1,046 AED), and you will also get dual tailpipe outlets on both sides.
Colour options include Ice White, Fusion Red Metallic, Denim Blue Metallic, and Pebble Grey Metallic.
Only One Trim Level Is Available
The 2020 Volvo V60 is only available in the T5 AWD option. It is underpinned by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which churns out 250 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and offers an all-wheel drive. According to performance measures, it goes from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 6.4 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 130 mph.
Standard And Additional Features
The car comes with a 2.3-inch digital driver display. It offers different driving modes, as well as blind-spot detection with cross-traffic alert, two-zone automatic climate control, and hill start assist. If you go for the Advanced Package, you will also get the fancy LED headlights with cornering lights, a 360-degree camera, a head-up screen, and driver assistance with adaptive cruise control.
With the Cross Country Pro package, you will also get four-zone climate control, four-way lumbar support for the seats on the front, passenger seat memory, and 19-inch diamond cut double-spoke wheels. Other add-ons include ventilated and heats seats, a massage function for the front seat, and a heated steering wheel.
The Cross Country’s suspension is like that of the standard V60 and it also gets Volvo’s leaf spring and conventional hydraulic shocks, which adds 2.4 inches to its height. This extra height makes it stand out from the standard V60 and also results in an equal increase in ground clearance and suspension travel. The finish is matte black and there is lower body cladding too, including wheel arches for added protection.
There is no word on when the 2020 V60 will make it to the UAE and how much it will cost in the country, but we will keep you posted.
