If you are looking for a powerful car for sale in Abu Dhabi, you’ll certainly love what is being done to the latest 2020 Ford Mustang. The Ford Mustang EcoBoost version could possibly arrive next year, bringing a slew of upgrades that will drastically increase its horsepower. Here’s what CarSwitch.com found out about it!

Noticeable upgrades for the 2020 Ford Mustang EcoBoost?

The listed upgrades include two 2.3-liter four-cylinder engines among the six total powerplants. In the Net Brake H.P. listing, one of these engines will produce 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, as long as the car is running premium fuel. The exact nature of the premium fuel wasn’t specified in the VIN details, but we’re confident that the crucial information should be listed in the car’s maintenance manual when customers are lining up to get one.

Another thing to keep in mind that the aforementioned specifications are for the current base engines, meaning that Ford will most likely be producing more powerful and pricier versions of the Mustang EcoBoost for 2020. Sources close to this information stated that the car manufacturer is aiming to introduce higher-powered versions of the vehicle, and this could be done for two reasons.

One is that customers are always looking for more powerful engines to test on a vehicle and the second reason is Ford wants to take on the likes of the Chevrolet Camaro 1LE, which can obtain 335 horsepower and 284 pound-feet of torque from a V6 engine. Fortunately, for Ford, the company’s four-cylinder design does not even sweat against Chevrolet’s four-cylinder offering, with the latter costing a substantial $1,105 more than the base Mustang.

Ford will also be introducing newer versions to reduce the price gap that exists between the current Mustang models. After the automaker stopped producing the Cyclone V6, it left a gaping $8,960 difference between the 310 horsepower four-cylinder version and the 460 horsepower Coyote V8.

Also, judging from the name, there’s a possibility that Ford might introduce some technological and engineering prowess that allows the Mustang EcoBoost model to drastically increase its performance without stressing the engine too much, but it needs to be confirmed when the vehicle is officially unveiled.

Even when a different source questioned Ford about the potential mid-level four-cylinder Mustang engine option, the company’s spokesperson only responded that that automaker is elevating the lineup and that we will hear something about it soon. While this is hardly anything to go by, it does show that Ford is taking its Mustang range seriously and could launch several tiers for different-paying customers while also keeping the competition alive, and fierce.
