You might want to sell your car in Abu Dhabi after the debut of the 2020 BMW X6! The new X6 sports a massive kidney grill and if that isn’t enough, the grille is illuminated. CarSwitch.com gives you the complete details.
The 2020 BMW X6 is based on the BMW Cluster Architecture (CLAR) platform which is also a part of its more subtle sibling, X5. It comes with a sloping roofline at the rear. Of course, it means a compromise on the headroom but that might not be a concern for luxury car entusiastsiasts. Moreover, the new X6 receives many tweaks on the front and the rear but the most prominent difference remains the illuminated grille.
The latest X6 also comes with new engines. The sDrive40i and xDrive40i will have a 3.0L Inline-six engine with 335 hp and 447 Nm torque. Although, if you want something more powerful, BMW M50i is a good option. The BMW M50i will have a twin turbo 4.4L V8 powerhouse which pushes out 523 hp and 750 Nm. It will cover 0 to 100 kph in 4.1s which is an improvement of 0.5s from its predecessors.
The engines are come with an 8-speed automatic transmission. To improve performance, it also includes a five-link rear suspension as well as a double-wishbone front. To get even better dynamics, buyers can opt for the optional Dynamic Handling Package. This adds active roll stabilisation and active steering in order to lower down body roll around corners.
The 2020 BMW X6 receives an optional off-road package although X6 might not be the ideal choice for going off-road. Nevertheless, the package includes M Sport electronic rear differential, two-axle air suspension and four off-road driving modes: sand, snow, rock and gravel. Although, if you like some serious off-roading skills, waiting for the Tremor off-road package in the upcoming Ford F-series is a better option.
The interior of the all-new X6 features Live Cockpit by BMW. It includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a central 12.3 inch touchscreen. These include gesture controls, Wi-Fi connectivity, Apple CarPlay facility, voice assist and wireless charging.
It also has some great safety features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, blind spot monitor and park distance control. Additionally, many optional safety features are available.
BMW X6 will reach the UAE by the end of the year. This gives you enough time to sell your car in Abu Dhabi in case you’re looking to buy the new X6. CarSwitch.com can help you sell your car without any hassles.
