If you’re planning to sell your car in Abu Dhabi due to high fuel prices, we have some good news! After a 4-month price hike, petrol prices are going to go down for the month of July. This was announced by the UAE fuel price committee on Thursday.

The last decrease in petrol prices was last seen in February 2019 and since then an upward trend was seen in prices.

The fuel prices increased in June 2019, but they have declined this month. Super 98, which cost AED 2.53 per/litre in June, stands at AED 2.30 in July. Special 95 has decreased from AED 2.53 per/litre to AED 2.18 in July, whereas diesel prices have declined from AED 2.56 per/litre to AED 2.35.

The global oil price decreased on Wednesday after Trump threatened to put additional tariffs on Chinese imports.

Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies will be meeting next week to decide on production levels going forward
Even with this decrease in fuel prices, we’re still not sure about the future. This is why it might be a good idea to sell your car in Abu Dhabi and switch to a more fuel-efficient alternative. CarSwitch.com can provide you with the best options available!
