That’s quite a unique way to market a car and could surely appeal to a lot of consumers, especially those who are into cryptography. Kryptos is a Greek word and it refers to something hidden, unseen, and coded. This idea was presented by Rolls-Royce designer Katrin Lehmann who has a thing for hidden messages and this has led to this encrypted car.
The entire car features the cipher in a way that’s reminiscent of computer circuits. The company has given only some faint details of its location. The puzzle will start with the Spirit of Ecstasy badge at the front of the vehicle which has a dot-and-dash code embedded into its base.
Other places where owners can expect to find the cipher include the external coach striping, revamped illuminated headliner, and headrests. The hidden message is carved on a dark brushed metal base and it can be best viewed from the driving seat.
But that’s all the clues you are going to get. After all, why would the company want anyone to solve the mystery using the car’s images alone? Rather, it’s meant for the fifty lucky owners who will be encouraged to submit their answers using a highly secure section of the owner-only social networking app called Whispers.

The answer to the puzzle is in a safe
Rolls-Royce says the answer resides in a sealed envelope in a safe in CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös’s office. So, what will you get for solving the puzzle? Well, it seems like there are no rewards and bragging rights is all you are going to receive. Also, the company has given no clue about what information the exercise will reveal. Thus, it will be interesting to see what the hype is about.

Rolls-Royce Wraith Kryptos specs and price are a mystery currently
Pricing details have not been revealed yet but it is expected to be in the neighbourhood of $400,000. Similarly, the specifications are not official yet. The standard Wraith is underpinned by a 6.6-liter V12 engine that delivers more than 600 horsepower and torque. Other specs are also largely unknown and hopefully, the company will reveal them soon.
