The 2019 BMW 330i is modern and luxurious, with a deep emphasis on technology. Since this is a highly competitive segment, BMW has done well in the sense that this is a well-rounded car. However, it doesn’t particularly edge out any of its competitors in any segment.
Performance
Compared to its predecessor, the 2019 BMW 330i features some great improvements. It is underpinned by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 255 horsepower and 295 pounds-feet of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It’s worth mentioning that manual transmission has been discontinued by the carmaker.

The engine is quite impressive and powertrain is extremely responsive. Similarly, the steering feedback is pretty good too. The car feels pretty nice on roads and highways and is a good option if comfort matters to you.
Technology
As mentioned before, with the 330i, technology takes the center stage. The car has a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel as well as a multimedia touchscreen. There are various ways to control multimedia. You may do it through the touchscreen, use the rotary dial, give voice commands, or interact via gestures. And once you get the hang of things, you will be able to do everything effortlessly. For Apple CarPlay, you will have to cough up $80 (AED 294) annually after a year of free usage. Unfortunately, Android Auto is not offered.

Standout features include Extended Traffic Jam Assistant, which makes driving in crowded traffic less of a hassle, and Backup Assistant, which remembers your trail up to 50 yards so that leaving parking spaces in congested areas is not a daunting task.
Price
The RWD models of the 330i start at $41,245 (AED 151,501), while AWD variants begin from $43,745. With add-ons, the price can go as high as $59,920. Of course, some competing cars such as Alfa Romeo Guilia, Audi A4, Mercedes C-Class and Volvo S60 carry similar price tags. However, if you aren’t in the mood to shell out this much, you might be able to find similar cars which may skimp on things that you aren’t crazy about, such as tech specs, but still deliver on things that really matter such as performance and interior. Thus, unless you are a hardcore BMW fan, you might want to look around a bit before getting this one.
