Its provides a combined 1000 cv, out of which 780 cv come from the engine and 220 cv from its electric motors.
It is also the fastest accelerating road car by Ferrari as it goes from 0-100kph in a blistering 2.5 seconds. It makes a 0-200kph sprint in only 6.7 seconds and has a top-speed of 340 kph. It can go on for 16 miles in one charge. Additionally, it is also the first Ferrari sports car with a 4WD drive system, which helps this hypercar reach its full potential.
The all-new Ferrari plug-in hybrid has been created using multi-material technology, including carbon fibre, to keep it lightweight. This addition to the Ferrari’s lineup with its superb performance in a lower price seemed almost surreal, which is why many speculated that the SF90 Stradale may be replacement for the LaFerrari or 812 Superfast. However, the Ferrari CEO commented,
“This is not substituting any model in our range, it represents a new sector to our line up which now goes to the top of our portfolio.”
Well, this is just the beginning. Ferrari plans that, by 2022, electric hybrids will constitute 60% of its model range. The first fully electric model is also expected to be released soon after.
