Toyota has now released the 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition, which is a limited edition car. The car made a debut at the Chicago Auto Show. It comes with a retro badging and looks really good, but it’s not a substantial upgrade. Read on because CarSwitch.com has more details about the limited edition Land Cruiser including the specs, and performance of this car for sale.
Design Upgrades
If you are wondering how the Heritage Edition is different from the standard Land Cruiser series, there are certain things to consider. It gets new bronze 18-inch BBS wheels, which are exclusive to the limited edition Land Cruiser. The big grille now has black accents. The headlight and fog light housings are also surrounded by darkened chrome. Similarly, the side mirrors also have a darker accent now. The retro Land Cruiser badging can be seen on the side.
Toyota has also removed the running boards and lower body side moldings on the Heritage Edition. The improved break over angle and smaller wheels will hopefully provide the Heritage Edition with better off-road capabilities than the 200 series. The car will only be available in two color options: Midnight Black Metallic and Blizzard Pearl.
The interior has also received a facelift. The 2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition has black leather upholstery with bronze contrast stitching. This is the only color option available and the theme is black all over. The SUV also has all-weather floor mats and a cargo liner. The Heritage Edition will only be offered as a five-passenger SUV. The third-row seating has been removed to maximize cargo capacity.

Internals Remain The Same
The internals haven’t changed which means the 2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition comes fitted with a 5.7-liter V8 engine that generates 381 horsepower and 544 Nm of torque. It features a four-wheel drive system and eight-speed automatic transmission. The Heritage Edition also has the options that the standard Land Cruiser comes with.
The Land Cruiser got a significant update for the 2018 model so, it isn’t surprising that the specifications of this model haven’t changed a lot. The car also gets many electronic aids such as Hill Start Assist, Downhill Assist Control, Off-Road Turn Assist, CRAWL Control, a Multi-Terrain Select System, and a Multi-Terrain Monitor camera system. The SUV also has skid plates to protect the radiator, suspension, transfer tank, and fuel tank.
