The GMC Acadia has received a mid-cycle facelift. From a new engine option to a new trim level, there are a lot of changes to look forward to. A Refreshed Look
The grille of the 2020 GMC Acadia has been redesigned and has more of a square-like shape now. It is complemented by LED lighting and head and tail lights. The tail lights look taller and the car gets a new bumper as well. The AT4 also has a black chrome finish and interior goes well with it. The new AT4 trim level has black trim and wheels, and all-terrain tires which give it greater off-road capability. The AT4 also offers all-wheel drive.
There is a different center console layout on the inside with a pushbutton shifter. The car also offers additional storage, which is always a welcome change. The highest end Denali variant also gets new trim choices and upholstery. The SUV also comes with a new infotainment system that has better graphics, two USB-C ports, and an upgraded navigation system. You can also wireless charge your phone in the 2020 GMC Acadia, as it offers 15-watt wireless charging. The car also comes with a high definition rear vision digital camera.
A New Engine
Like the old variants, the 2020 GMC Acadia also has the base 193 horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and the optional 310 horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 engine. There is also a new turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 engine which offers 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, thanks to the twin-scroll turbocharger.
For frugality, two of the four cylinders can be deactivated as well. The turbo engine comes installed with the SLT and Denali trim levels, while the V6 comes with the AT4 trim. The suspension has also been tweaked a little
The six-speed transmission has now been replaced with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The new transmission replaces the mechanical shift level of Acadia with an electronic shifter with different buttons and triggers.

A New AT4 Model
There is a new AT4 model that will replace Acadia All Terrain. It comes with a different all-wheel-drive system which features a twin-clutch setup. This gives the car torque-vectoring capability. Aesthetically, the car has darker exterior accents, 17-inch wheels, and all-terrain tires.
The 2020 GMC Acadia car for sale will be released in fall. Pricing details haven’t been revealed yet. The current range starts at $30,195 (AED 110,913) and goes up to $50,000 (AED 183,662) and the new prices aren’t expected to be within the same range.
