That’s right, folks! The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe has finally launched in Dubai! Coming to the markets with an all-new sleek exterior and a fully upgraded interior, it is armed with all the chops. Before we dive into the details, Hyundai has been officially selling car in UAE starting from September, 2018.
The exterior
First, let’s talk about Hyundai’s new shape first. From the front, the 2019 Santa Fe comes with Hyundai’s characteristic cascading grille combined with a composite light design structure featuring LED daytime lights. The lines created are now more bolder, refined and high intensity. In addition, the diamond cut 19-inch wheel alloys add further strength to the dynamic SUV.

The interior
It’s difficult not to be won over by how comfortable the interior is. What does a good interior comprise of? High-quality plush materials, spacious layout, gadgets and gizmos that’s what. The cabin is laced in high quality leather on the seats, dashboard and door panels. In addition, the interior also provides plenty of headroom and legroom for the six passengers and the driver upfront.

The drive
The versions sold in UAE and Middle east will come with two different engine options; the 2.4 litre 4 cylinder and the 3.5 litre V6 engine. The 2.5 litre-engine churns out 172 horsepower with a 6-speed automatic gearbox with an all-wheel drive or a front wheel drive option. The bigger cylinder, however, chucks out a total of 280 horsepower through an 8-speed automatic all-wheel drive option.
To enhance the user experience, Hyundai is selling this car with an All-wheel drive in four different drive modes; Normal, Smart, Eco and Sport.
Our verdict
So, what do we think? Well, Hyundai’s Santa Fe is an SUV that we would definitely like to take out for a long road trip. Impressive technology, comfortable interior, stunning design and plentiful power. This one’s a winner!
