Hyundai has a tradition of attracting interest whenever it releases a premium model. The same is true for the 2020 Genesis G90, which has received a major upgrade this year. Thanks to the styling tweaks, the new Genesis G90 looks nothing like its predecessor. The full-size luxury sedan was revealed in Hyundai’s home country of South Korea and will reach Abu Dhabi showrooms soon hopefully. Here is what you need to know about the updated car for sale in Abu Dhabi.
Design
The diamond-shaped grille on the front has been enlarged. The air vents which are at the bottom of the car’s bumper are broader. The four-point headlights have a strip which stretches across the front fender. The hood also has two more creases in the middle now, which makes it look different.
The turn signals have been relocated from the side mirrors to the front fenders. The 19-inch alloy wheels also have a more elaborate design. In addition, just like the front design, the rear design has also been revamped. The 2020 Genesis G90 gets new full-width taillights that extend from one corner to the other. The first row of lights is narrower, presumably to accommodate the “Genesis” branding.
The taillamps and the headlamps both have Genesis’s G-Matrix inner detailing and have the diamond pattern. There are also new exhaust finishers at the back.

Interior
Not a lot has changed on the inside and the interior largely reflects that of the current generation G90. The central air vents around the analog clock are a little thinner now. The 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system can now be wirelessly updated over the air. It also features new copper accents.
There is also a noise-canceling technology in place and the climate-control system can now go into the recirculation mode automatically when it senses that the car is inside a tunnel. The company might also announce some more upholstery and trim options as well as safety features going forward.
Engine
The engines remain the same: 3.8-litre, V6, 5.0-litre V8, and the twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6. The company hasn’t revealed the power and torque figures yet.
It isn’t known when the 2020 G90 will be available yet and the company also hasn’t released any pricing details. The current generation G90 starts at $69,345 ( AED 254, 721) for the rear-wheel-drive that has a 365 horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V-6, and the price goes up to $75,345 (AED 276, 753) for the model fueled by the 420 horsepower 5.0-liter V-8.
Expect the Genesis G90 to arrive in UAE showrooms at the start of 2020.
