Vogue SE is the full-size Range Rover with the long equipment list — the specification most buyers chasing the flagship experience actually end up in.
What to check on a used Range Rover Vogue SE
Read the suspension and electrical sections of the CarSwitch report before you offer.
AED 159,000 to AED 159,000, all of it early-2020s stock. On this trim the equipment sheet is the price: rear-seat entertainment, upgraded audio, the driver-assistance pack and a complete main-dealer file each account for real money.
Better bodywork than the class, which matters on a car this expensive to repair: 54% of the Vogue SEs we inspect in the UAE show evidence of prior body or panel repair, against the 70% we would expect for SUVs of the same age and mileage here. The Range Rover HSE reads similarly at 48% on a 62% norm. What still needs attention is the air suspension — level after a night parked, moving through its full range — and the electrics, tested individually rather than assumed.
The Toyota Land Cruiser costs about the same, holds about 63% and can be serviced anywhere. The BMW X5 is similar money with a sharper drive, at 44% on a 65% norm for bodywork. Neither has this rear cabin, which is the entire point of the car.
The fourth-generation Range Rover ran from 2013 to 2021, and its last few years are the ones worth paying for — the 2018 update brought the twin-screen cabin and much better electronics. The 2022-onward car is a clean-sheet replacement at a very different price.
Softer than the class, stronger than the badge: a UAE Vogue SE keeps about 39% of its value after five years, against roughly 46% for full-size luxury SUVs of the same age and mileage here, and 33% across Range Rover as a whole. That is an argument for letting the first owner absorb the drop.
