The BYD Song Plus is a plug-in hybrid mid-size SUV, and every one on the road in the UAE today is young — this nameplate has only just arrived here, so age is not the question a buyer needs answered. Ours run from AED 82100 to AED 93000, a gap that is about battery size and trim, not wear.

How much does a used BYD Song Plus cost in the UAE?

Less than a petrol SUV of similar size, and less again than a plug-in hybrid from an established brand. Expect from AED 82100 for the smaller battery pack up to AED 93000 for a fully loaded, nearly new example — about 34% below the price of a new Song Plus.

Which used BYD Song Plus year should you buy?

Whichever one still carries its full manufacturer battery warranty. There is no old, unreliable generation to avoid here — the real filter is how many years of battery cover remain, since that decides what the car is worth to you five years out more than the plate does.

How long does a BYD Song Plus last?

Long enough that odometer wear is not the concern it is on a petrol SUV — the cars we inspect run a median of around 37,000 km, light use for a family SUV this size.
