On the pickup side, the Sierra covers full-size truck duties with SLE through Elevation trims, while the Canyon handles the midsize segment with a rugged AT4X variant for serious off-road buyers. At the top, the Hummer EV Pickup sits in a category of its own — a zero-emission supertruck with an electric powertrain and extreme off-road capability that no other brand in this price bracket can match.
GMC retains approximately 44% of its value after five years — ahead of Chevrolet at 41% in the American truck and SUV segment, though Toyota at 56% holds significantly more value long-term. Buyers prioritising resale should factor this into the total cost of ownership, particularly on higher-priced Denali and Hummer variants.
