Which used Mitsubishi Pajero year should you buy?

2017 to 2020, and there is a good reason the range is so wide. This shape launched in 2007 and Mitsubishi built it essentially unchanged until production ended in 2021 — same V6, same chassis, same interior architecture for fourteen years. That makes the newest one you can afford the right one, with no generation trap to fall into and no early-build years to avoid.

Is a used Mitsubishi Pajero reliable in the UAE?

Better than the class it competes in, which is the whole point of the car. Across more than 1,200 Pajeros CarSwitch has inspected in the UAE, 59% show previous body or panel repair, against the 68% we would expect for SUVs of the same age and mileage in the Emirates, and electrical faults appear on just 8% against an expected 15% — for comparison the Ford Edge runs at 25%. Mitsubishi Pajero or Toyota Fortuner?

The Toyota Fortuner is the tighter, newer design and shows a mechanical fault on only 10% against an expected 17% — the better bet if the price works. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is the nicer road car and the riskier ownership. The Pajero's case is running costs and the fact that nothing on it is exotic.
