This might be because people still love the vintage feel of an old-school muscle car and with Mustang and Camaro dabbling elsewhere, Dodge has less competition.<\/p>\n<p>However, Dodge also sees the need for upgrading their vehicles. Funnily enough, Dodge is the last of the big three to decide to electrify their future cars. Chevrolet and Ford are both working on an electrified version of the Camaro and the Mustang respectively. This news is most likely a little heartbreaking for those who have fallen in love with traditional American muscle, a V-8, supercharged, 700 horsepower engine.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone clearly loves the Hellcat with its V8, 706 horsepower engine. And Dodge knows this, which is why they keep on milking the same formula. Maybe that is why Dodge has still shown a reluctance to go towards full electrification. According to Manley, electrification <i>\u201ccan\u2019t be the dominant part\u201d<\/i>.
