Aston Martin:<\/b> In <\/span>Buckinghamshire, England is located an old village by the name of Aston Clinton. This is the place where the company was founded by Lionel Martin. Combining the two significant features of this company gave birth to the name Aston Martin. <\/span><\/p>\n

Audi: <\/b> August Horch founded a company to manufacture cars that he named Horch. Due to some reason he had to leave that company after five years but his will to make cars never diminished. So he continued to manufacture cars but used the Latin translation for his German name Horch that was Audi. And that is how the four-ring giant came to be. <\/span><\/p>\n

Cadillac: <\/b>Named after a French explorer Antoine Laumet de La Mothe Cadillac, this company was founded in 1902, but was later acquired by General Motors and till today functions under their brand umbrella.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fiat:<\/b> The name sounds short and sweet and one would assume that it too is a surname of the founder of this company, but much to your surprise, and ours, it is actually an acronym that stands for Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rolls-Royce<\/b><\/a>:<\/b>  Frederick Henry Royce started his automobile business in 1884 and later that year was introduced to Charles Stewart Rolls who legally owned a car dealership.
