According to CarSwitch listings data (July 2026), this compact crossover loses only about 3% of its value each year \u2014 comfortably ahead of every rival we track in the same size class.<\/p>\n\n<p>Three things explain it. First, it&#8217;s the right size for UAE roads and parking. It doesn&#8217;t feel oversized for mall basements, but it sits high enough for comfort. Second, the hybrid option appeals to buyers watching fuel costs. And third, the Toyota reliability reputation does real work at resale \u2014 buyers trust it, so they pay more for it.<\/p>\n\n<h2>How it compares to the Creta and MG ZS<\/h2>\n\n<p>The Hyundai Creta is popular and affordable, but it drops faster. A four-year-old Creta retains about 92% of what a one-year-old example costs \u2014 that works out to roughly 4% lost per year. They&#8217;re technically classified alongside SUVs, but they appeal to a different buyer \u2014 someone who wants the ride height without the bulk or the fuel bill. Because fewer of them are listed relative to demand, they hold price better. <a href=\"https:\/\/carswitch.com\/uae\/used-cars\/sedan-for-sale-in-uae\">Sedan cars<\/a> make up about 28% of listings, and the oversupply pressure is lighter there too.<\/p>\n\n<h2>What a two- to three-year-old Corolla Cross costs today in the UAE<\/h2>\n\n<p>A 2023 or 2024 <a href=\"https:\/\/carswitch.com\/uae\/used-cars\/toyota\/corolla\">Toyota Corolla<\/a> Cross in Dubai typically lists between AED 100,000 and AED 115,000, depending on trim and whether it&#8217;s the hybrid. Most have under 40,000 km. That&#8217;s roughly 10\u201315% less than a brand-new one \u2014 a saving of around AED 12,000\u201318,000 without giving up much.<\/p>\n\n<p>Compare that to a Creta of the same age. A 2024 Creta lists around AED 71,000, which is about 18% off its new price. Sounds like a bigger saving, but it also means the Creta&#8217;s owner lost more.
