Buckle the harness and chest clip, making sure it\u2019s at armpit level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rear-Facing Seat With Seat Belt<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to install a rear-facing seat for your infant and your car doesn\u2019t feature a LATCH system, follow these steps. Place the seat base in the rear seat of your vehicle. Thread the seat belt using the belt path and then buckle and lock the belt. Firmly press down the base and see if you need to tighten the belt. Ideally, the seat base must not deviate more than an inch.
