This EV is coming up soon but with that we\u2019ve got some more interesting news from Cadillac as well. It plans to go all-electric by 2030. Cadillac has always made a statement with its <a href=\"https:\/\/carswitch.com\/dubai\/used-car\/sell\">cars for sale in Dubai<\/a> and we\u2019re excited to see what it&#8217;s coming up with next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Aiming High<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"733\" height=\"393\" src=\"http:\/\/65.1.85.58\/newsroom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/1-3.jpg\" alt=\"Cadillac's new EV upcoming cars for sale in Dubai\" class=\"wp-image-12218\" srcset=\"https:\/\/carswitch.com\/newsroom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/1-3.jpg 733w, https:\/\/carswitch.com\/newsroom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/1-3-300x161.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 733px) 100vw, 733px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, Cadillac President Steve Carlisle told journalists that the company might become an EV-only brand by the end of this decade. Of course, that\u2019s an ambitious plan and the manufacturer might not be able to reach it. Still, as implied by Carlisle, the next ten years will probably mark the end of internal combustion engines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, that doesn\u2019t mean that we won\u2019t be seeing ICE cars from the brand anymore. It will still continue to work on new powertrains, but most of its upcoming cars might be electric. The company doesn\u2019t see demand surging drastically before the middle of 2025. Also, don\u2019t expect Hybrids, PHEVs and hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles from the automaker. Moreover, Cadillac is the leading GM brand to go electric.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cadillac Could Enter New Segments Too<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, with EVs, we might see Cadillac enter new segments, which might not have been a possibility with a car running on traditional fuel. At the same time, the company isn\u2019t planning to leave segments it is already in just because it is prioritizing EVs now.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, we can look forward to the previously mentioned zero-emissions crossover which was previewed during the Detroit Auto Show. Six people will be able to travel in it at a time. The car is also expected to feature an advanced autonomous driving system. It will come with a futuristic cabin that will boast a large digital display. The car will presumably have a range of more than 400, which will be made possible because of better battery technology. It\u2019s under development right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Get Ready For Real Model Names<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>It has also been revealed that these EVs will not have alphanumerical branding like the <a href=\"http:\/\/65.1.85.58\/newsroom\/cadillac-unveils-ct4v-ct5v-dubai\/\">CT4-V and CT5-V<\/a>. Instead, Cadillac has decided to give them proper model names.
