It allows you to check if the car has been written off as being flooded or salvaged.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>Sniff test<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>When upholstery or carpets come in contact with water, they not only remain wet for a long time but give off a damp smell. Sniff the car for any musty smells.
