The two-seater packs in a 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged McLaren V8 engine and features a seven-speed seamless-shift gearbox that\u2019s connected to the rear wheels. The superlight car from the British automaker offers 815 horsepower and 800Nm of torque. Add this raw power to the launch control function, and you have got a car that can go from 0 to 100kph in just 3.0 seconds and from a standstill to 200kph in only 6.7 seconds. The top speed and the exact weight of the car haven\u2019t been announced yet. The suspension is a tweaked variant of the hydraulic suspension system seen in the 720S and steering is also hydraulically assisted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside, there is an 8-inch infotainment display and it is capable of running various applications at the same time. To keep the weight down, there is no audio system inside. There is a vent in the nose of the car and it houses the Active Air Management System (AAMS). Its features ducts, a deflector, and vanes among other things to manipulate airflow. So, in essence, it acts as a windshield and safeguards the passengers from being buffeted by air turbulence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if you aren\u2019t so sold on the idea of being in a car without a physical windscreen, there is also a variant with this option. Additionally, the British company says the sculpture and the form of the upper cabin also provide a sense of security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Only 399 Units Will Be Available<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Only 399 customers will be able to get their hands on the car. The price starts at $1.69 million and many MSO (McLaren Special Operations) tailored options will also be available for an added price.
