This means that it could be that one day you just decide that tinted windows do not go well with your car, even if they are just fine. Removing the tint at this stage can be something of a challenge, as when it\u2019s still new, the adhesive is pretty strong. In this case, you would want to use heat to your advantage. If you got the tint to provide some relief from the sun, you might want to take it off when it gets a purple tinge as it can be a sign of non-metallic dyes. Heat is again a good idea here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another reason why you may want to remove the tint is that sometimes bubbles form over it and it will not really look pleasing if you just peel off the affected area. However, the good news is bubbling is a sign of weakening adhesive, so the tint will come off easily<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How To Remove Tint<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/jWu0Ns7K_Fhw7HpI83i92BjM70dmmTMVnOAa38TdKnkftsOGbKfoAWfI0sNXhnPqbclYReCjwdxMI5_m92l0GgVQqsjSlvffqD4CDZdBuQA-EXEPSrneqBe2fHeUqA6e4EryKE6I\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Without further ado, here is how you can remove the window tint:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Use a Hairdryer<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Who knew your hairdryer can also help with car maintenance? If you don\u2019t have one, a heat gun will work just as well. Start at a corner and hold the weapon of your choice approximately two inches from the window. Turn it on at the highest temperature and wait for the glue to melt. Hold the dryer at an angle and peel the glue with your fingernails. Once everything has been removed, wipe the window clean with a towel. You may still keep the dryer on to soften any remaining parts still glued to the window. In the end, wash the windows with a cleaner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Steam Clean<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This is similar to the method listed above, except that it\u2019s faster. All you need is a fabric softener to soften the glue and the tint will come off on its own. Pretty nifty, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Newspaper<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Use warm, soapy water to make your car windows wet and then cover them with a newspaper. This process should be done during a time when the sun is out in all its glory. Add more soapy water after 20 minutes and then use a non-metallic scraper to get rid of the tint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Razor Blade<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Use a razor blade to cut the edge of the film and once that\u2019s done, spray the window with soapy water. After that, you should be able to scrape off the glue. However, be careful, otherwise, you may damage your windows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;No matter which method you use, you might still be left with a little glue at the end.
