A new variant has been added to Volkswagen T-Roc. The New Black Edition is not just about a few style updates. The car has been upgraded both on the inside and outside and has also received some additional equipment. CarSwitch.com, an online marketplace for certified used cars in Dubai, did some research to share the details with you.
Volkswagen T-Roc Black Edition upgrades
With the Black Edition, the T-Roc’s grille trim gets a dark finish and so do the roof rails, door mirror caps, and exhaust pipe. The new 18-inch alloy wheels also get the same treatment
Unlike the Volkswagen T-Roc SE, the new vehicle also gets LED headlamps, a decal for the C-pillar, and rear privacy glass.
The cabin is also high on the black theme. It gets black roof lining, Piano Black dashpads, leather covering over the gear shift knob, and multifunction sports steering wheel with grey stitching. Other than that the interior also gets footwell illumination and white ambient lighting.
Like the rest of the T-Roc family, the Black Edition is also eligible for a Beats audio sound pack, Vienna leather upholstery, and sports suspension. Keep in mind these are all additional options.
Front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, heated and foldable door mirrors with embedded puddle lights are standard and have been inherited from the SE model.

Volkswagen T-Roc Black Edition Powertrain Options
The Black Edition T-Roc offers front-wheel drive. It comes in four engine variants – 1.0- and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines and 1.6- and 2.0-litre TDI diesel engines, which produce 113 horsepower and 148 horsepower respectively
In the words of Volkswagen UK’s T-Roc product manager UK Claire Haynes, “The T-Roc, with its focus on personalization and individuality, already has abundant style. The Black Edition builds upon this, with its exclusive black-colored trim and C-pillar decal adding an even more eye-catching edge to the funky T-Roc.”
Volkswagen T-Roc Black Edition Price
Price starts at £23,750 for the 1.0-liter TSI petrol model. The SE trim, on the other hand, costs £23,350 in its entry-level configuration. Volkswagen claims that the Black Edition is actually good value for money, as the additional equipment it has received would cost over £2000 if bought individually.
Volkswagen T-Roc Black Edition Color Options
And lest the Black Edition moniker makes you think otherwise, the T-Roc will actually be available in a host of hues, including Ravenna Blue, Turmeric Yellow, Energetic Orange, Flash Red, and of course, Deep Black Pearl.
