From goblin eyes and braces for vents to bulbous frames hunchbacks, the cars on this list have some of the strangest and weirdest features. Some of these cars will surely make you appreciate your used cars in Sharjah so much more! CarSwitch.com has put together a list of the top 5 strangest and weirdest cars.
1. 2003 Fiat Multipla
We talked about this car in our list of Richard Hammod’s least favourite cars. Well, he certainly had a point. This car looks like there are two cars enmeshed with each other resulting in ugly lumps or bulges. Or maybe the “look” that the automaker was going for was a morbidly obese person.
2. 1975 AMC Pacer
The car looked like an asymmetrical blob and a fishbowl at the same time. For better functionality, the left door was longer than the right one to make it easier for passengers to get out. However, buyers were just repelled by the looks of this one. Laughably, when the pacer was finally converted to the right hand-market, the long door was on the wrong side.
3. 2008 Nissan Denki Cube
We’ve seen many boxy, overweight cars to finally rule that they just don’t look cute. And Nissan Cube is one of them. Overweight and bulbous, it just looked weird. As if it didn’t look unpleasant enough, there was an asymmetrical element to it as well. The pillared effect was only on one side so that the rear window didn’t wrap around all the way.
4. 2014 Jeep Cherokee
The fifth-generation left everyone dumbfounded and not in a good way! The new model was very different from previous generations or normal cars. The front grille made it look like it had just paid a visit to the dentist and got braces. The front air vents just looked industrial and we just can’t get past them.
5. 2010 Porsche Panamera
The Cayenne was a success for Porsche so they went ahead and decided to repeat the formula with Panamera. And that didn’t quite hit the mark! The Panamera came with the DNA of 911 but with a larger body. The idea looked really hopeful on paper but that is where it should have stayed. The rear end was protruding and ugly. Thankfully, it has been fixed now.
