Apparently, Hammond worked hard to ensure that he get this particular car in the color black so that it matches his helicopter.
The 2009 Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder has a 5.2-liter V10 engine which can provide 398 pound-feet of torque and 552 horsepower. The supercar goes from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just a matter of few seconds! It also offers improved fuel consumption and CO2 cut.
3. 1969 Jaguar E-Type
Another car that Hammond really likes is the 1969 Jaguar E-Type. Part of the reason he likes this particular model is that it was introduced in the same year that he was born. He shelled out nearly £50,000 for the car. The 1969 Jaguar E-Type has a 4.2-liter straight six engine which provides up to 265 horsepower and it can reach the speed of 60 miles per hour in only 6 seconds!
4. 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 RS PDK
Hammond is also fond of the expensive 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 RS PDK, and according to some, it provides the same experience as a 911 race car. It has a 4-liter engine that offers 493 horsepower and 8,250 rpm. The car provides 330 pound-feet of torque at 6,250 rpm. It takes it just 3.3 seconds to go from 0 to 62 miles per hour.
