Let’s talk about the test drive!
The first test drive for the car was done by a factory driver in Nevada. The speed was calculated by an average of two runs in two directions. The speed that was achieved was 278 mph; the highest top speed achieved for a production car!
The reason why Nevada was chosen was because it is one of the few roads in the world where a speed of 278 mph can be achieved.
The north-western run, from Las Vegas to the Pahrump highway was achieved in a speed of 284 mph, whereas the south-western run was done in a top speed of 271 mph.
The top speed
